Brentwood Youth Activities (BYA) is a not-for-profit, all volunteer youth organization that provides a safe place for the children of our community participate in various sports while learning team work, camaraderie, and good sportsmanship.

Board Elections begin in August. Nominations will be open for the following positions:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • Financial Secretary
  • Recording Secretary
  • Corresponding Secretary
  • Player Agent
  • Administrative Assistant
  • Concession Commissioner

The two year term starts October 1st and descriptions of each position can be found in the BYA By-Laws (attachment located on the bottom of this page).

The next General Membership meeting will take place on September 21st at the Brentwood Public Library.


Girls and Boys Basketball

Registration for Summer Basketball Workshops and Clinics is happening now. Both take place on weekends at the Brentwood Recreation Center.

The Basketball Department is looking for Committee Members, Coordinators, and Coaches.

 

Brentwood Youth Activities is holding its first ever 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament at the Brentwood Recreation Center August 7th, 8th, and 14th. The Tournament is open to all Boys and Girls from 7-16 years of age. Teams will be made of 3 players and 1 sub. You will play according to age and gender. The number of games will be determined by the number of teams in that particular group. The registration cost for each team will be $40.00. You can register teams on the day of the tournament.

The Saturday (August 7th and 14th) schedule will be as follows:
12pm to 1:30 - 7/8 Boys and Girls
2pm to 3:30 - 9/10 Boys and Girls
4pm to 5:30 - 11/12 Boys and Girls
6pm to 7:30 - 13/14 Boys and Girls

The Sunday (August 8th) schedule will be as follows:
12pm to 1:30 - 15/16 Boys and Girls
2pm - round 2 (specific games and times will be determined on Saturday)


Baseball / Softball

The 2010 In-House playing season has concluded. We are now hosting and participating in Williamsport competitions. Come out and support Brentwood!

2011 Registration begins in January.


Football / Cheerleading

The fInal day for Late Registration is as follows:

SUNDAY, AUGUST 1ST, 12 - 2PM

THIS WILL BE THE FINAL DAY FOR REGISTRATION WITH MOST DIVISIONS CLOSING COMPLETELY AFTER THIS DATE.

FULL PRACTICES BEGIN AUGUST 2ND, 6PM.

Cheerleading practices begin July 19th at 6pm. Practice days are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6 to 8pm.

All sponsorship monies will be used to offset the rising cost of uniforms, equipment, and general field maintenance.  This will allow us to continue to expand the program and reach an increasing number of Brentwood Youth.  As a BYA sponsor, you will be demonstrating your support of our community's children while also receiving valuable advertising for your company or organization.  Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.  Some benefits of sponsorship may include one or more of the following:
